A student council is constituted at JPS comprising the students of senior most classes elected by the students in a democratic manner. The aim is to imbibe the traits of leadership, responsibility and accountability in the Jainites.

The elected students are designated as

• JPS Prefect
• JPS Vice-Prefect
• JPS Sports Captain
• JPS Cultural Captain
• House Captains
• House Vice-Captains
